BLACK
LIVES
MATTER

As designers committed to decolonizing our practices, we feel that it is important for us to help amplify Black voices that have historically been underrepresented within our discipline. We are using this site as a public platform in support of Black Lives Matter within our communities and beyond. We ask that you take some time alongside looking at our work, to explore these collected resources.

A MEDIUM PLATFORM
A fluid exhibition created to build community among a large group of designers in a shared space. As weeks went on, the exhibit evolved depending on what was being displayed on a given day.

IMAGE 1: An image of the exhibition, consisting of a hand built shelf from recycled scraps, risographed posters, and the curated & contributed content.
IMAGE 2: A projection mapping presentation demonstrating the exhibit catalog (website) surrounding the exhibit (shelf).
A LIBRARY IS AN EXHIBIT IS...
This exhibition, currently on pause due to covid-19, exists as a temporary library made up of borrowed library books, all which contain traces of previous ownership. The ghosts of those that have touched upon these books in the past remain attached to the books themselves. (Collaboration with Rebecca Wilkinson.)
3803
An exhibition made during the beginning of the research process, exploring what is necessary in defining an exhibition. 3803 existed in my apartment, showcasing the life of my roommate and I acting both as graphic design and performance.
The final process book demonstrating all of the research, artist statement & thesis essay, and projects I worked on during second semester.
